Blink-182 and Tom DeLonge Reunite for Massive World Tour and New Music
Blink-182 has returned! The renowned rock band announced on Tuesday that they will reunite for a 2023 World Tour and will release a new single, “Edging,” on Friday, Oct. 14.
“We’re on our way. The tour is approaching. The album is on its way. Tom’s on his way, “referring to founding member Tom DeLonge, a statement with a video on the band’s official Instagram page stated. “Tickets go on sale on Monday. ‘EDGING,’ a new song, will be released on Friday.”
The video announcement fit the group’s style, which includes DeLonge, Travis Barker, and Mark Hoppus. It began with a rather immature commercial-style opener before revealing the trio standing together in front of the camera.
While Hoppus and Barker released a song called “Quarantine” in 2020 with Matt Skiba, who replaced DeLonge in the band in2015, their new song is the first time they’ve been in the studio together in almost a decade.
